Study of Regional Rusumo Falls Hydro-Electric & Multi-Purpose Project (RRFP) - Project Manager. Nile Basin Initiative/Nile Equatorial Lakes Subsidiary Action Coordination Unit (NELSAP-CU) invites consultants to indicate interest in providing services. Services include managing RRFP project preparation process. Project preparation process consists 1st to undertake comprehensive studies ensuring important aspects are addressed fully & integrated into final project design & lead to project construction & project area development. 2nd, it consists of exploring different financial options including private-public partnership/public partnership for project implementation. 3rd, project process to setup project institutional arrangements for project implementation & operation periods. Project Manager responsible for communication between stakeholders & partners, preparation of legal agreements, follow up on preparation studies. He will be responsible for implementation of development schedule & administration of development budget for RRFP. Budget used to conduct various studies of RRFP until project implementation, & facilitate regular & extraordinary meetings of parties. As appropriate, duties expanded to ensure success of completing preparation phase of RRPF on time. Project Manager serves as Secretariat for Project Implementation Committee (PIC) composed of Managing Director/Director General of power utility & Director General/Director/Commissioner of energy in 3 countries.
