After long-awaited months, the Johannesburg Road Agency has delayed road repairs in Craighall Park and completed a cleaning project in Rosebank.

The Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) has recently undertaken significant projects to enhance local infrastructure. Two notable initiatives are underway, with one successfully completed.

The first project involves the reinstatement repair on Jan Smuts Avenue and Rothesay Avenue in Craighall Park. This comprehensive repair includes the reconstruction of storm water structures, which has been finalised. However, the reinstatement of paving bricks, kerbing, and gutters is still in progress. Originally scheduled for completion by August 23, this project has encountered delays. The revised completion date is now set for the week ending September 30.

In contrast, the KI cleaning project at the corner of Bierman Avenue and Bath Avenue in Rosebank has been completed successfully. The area was unblocked and cleaned on August 17, marking the conclusion of this essential maintenance task.

These projects reflect the JRA’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and addressing community needs.
