Dr Enos Mabuza completion date has been moved to June

Due to the persistent rain over the last few days, the road had to be drained of water before work could continue.

The upgrades to Dr Enos Mabuza Drive are expected to be completed by the second week of June.

White Hazy Construction’s Japie Visser said the team spent most of Monday draining the water so they could continue work, and that the curing times for the road would take a little longer.

Visser said they are now expecting to finish the road by the second week of June.  However, he also said the backlog of traffic on the road should be a thing of the past by Monday June 6.
