Hesketh Country Estate officially broke ground on Monday, the 16th of August 2021 for the first phase development of the estate known as ALFA, a 225 walk up residential apartment development.
His Worship The Mayor of Msunduzi Municipality joined the developers, VRG Properties and partners, to commemorate the occasion at the Hesketh site in Hayfields.
“It gives me great pleasure to be here today to witness the ground-breaking of the Hesketh Estate. Msunduzi Municipality has a vision clearly articulated in the city development strategy which includes growth and long-term development for our communities. We applaud the efforts of the Hesketh developer team for investing in our city and supporting our efforts as a municipality” expressed Councillor MM Thebolla, His Worship The Mayor of Msunduzi Municipality.
Refining secure estate living within Pietermaritzburg, the Hesketh Estate development has set a precedent for property sales within the area.
Hesketh Estate blends modern, secure living with an outdoor orientated lifestyle. Boasting hectares of nature conservation walkaways, massive private open areas as well as a new lifestyle shopping centre, this pet-friendly family estate enables the convenience of having everything you need on your doorstop.
“Three months from launch, Hesketh experienced an average of fifty-four sales per month; that is a significant increase from the average two sales a month currently achieved in Pietermaritzburg. Having already achieved 70% in sales in ALFA, it is evident that Hesketh Estate will transform the landscape of Pietermaritzburg as it introduces a lifestyle unlike any other in the area. ALFA provides affordable and secure walk-up apartments appealing to first time homeowners and investors alike. With prices increasing at the end of August we encourage buyers to take up the opportunity at initial launch prices. We will also be launching the freestanding residential unit development known as ‘Galaxie’ which provides a larger standalone offering for families at competitive pricing” comments Director of VRG Properties, Leon van Rooyen.
“The development aims to employ local people and contribute towards the overall economy. We would like to thank the local municipality and community for their support thus far and we look forward to building on our relationships in Msunduzi” he concludes.
