‘Proactive maintenance work is not only necessary for ensuring the safety of road users and overall user experience of motorists, but also in prolonging the lifespan of our public assets,’ Quintas added.
Quitas has also advised road users to ‘exercise caution during this period’ by lowering their speed, paying attention to road signs, being alert in and around the roadworks area, looking out for uneven road surfaces and ‘being mindful of the construction workers’.
