Nghezimani village unveils new ring road, an investment in community development, enhancing accessibility and reducing traffic congestion.

LIMPOPO – The community of Nghezimani village, located outside Malamulele celebrated the official handover of a newly completed ring road by Collins Chabane Mayor Gezane Shadrack Maluleke on Thursday.

The state-of-the-art road is set to improve mobility within the village, easing access to key destinations such as schools, the graveyard, community halls, and churches.

The new infrastructure is expected to alleviate traffic congestion, sparing motorists and learners from relying on the main gravel road for their daily travels.

Maluleke highlighted the municipality’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality services and infrastructure to underprivileged communities.

“We are dedicated to enhancing our villages and townships. This project reflects our promise to deliver infrastructure that improves the lives of our people.

“I thank the Nghezimani community and the royal council for their cooperation and leadership throughout this project.”

He urged residents to care for the new road and to engage with local councillors for any service delivery issues, warning against damaging the infrastructure.

The road’s completion was warmly received by residents, who commented on the benefits of smoother travel and local job creation during construction.

Community representative Moses Ngoveni expressed relief that the municipality had responded to their longstanding requests.

“The new ring road makes accessing schools and other local areas much easier. We are grateful for this project, which has improved traffic flow and provided jobs for locals,” Ngoveni said.

He also called on the municipality to maintain the road to ensure its longevity.

Maluleke was accompanied by members of the executive committee and the local ward councillor during the handover ceremony.
